Running (Relay/Bus Run) 2:00 [5]

We came 2nd in heat, 5th in finals. pretty good day. plent of bananas, unfortch plenty of ants too. We had to sprint to the bus afterwards, got ther just in time. stair training on the way= woooot. yay team!

took my ipod & phone. spent the first 10mins txting some ppl, i hope george liked her message. i was quite busy. dk how fast i went, it was pretty good but. got locked outta the house, it was pretty gay but it made my hot shower all the better.

Hans estimated this to be my time. This was still heaps off my pb, how laaame. didnt think much about the race. was a total mess this mornin, more worried about a) neck fringe, b) silly shorts, c) caning myself on the bunting. My arms and legs felt heavy and slowwww. Caught up on all the goss w lara but :P my biorhythm outlook is not good :(

Tried runnin harder today, lost concentration and relaxed in the middle but felt as tho i put in a better effort than lately. i think i needed some recovery runs after state otherwise my tiredness accumulates. dk if im tired or lazy

Took my ipod w me today so i didnt get bored. almost had an epiphany lol :P. tried hard up some hills but the pace was fair easy. the air was cold and hurt my airways at first but it smelt good from the rain.
ooh im gonna do steeple training with dave rundall while hans is away, so excited :D

Was gonna go for a long run but didnt want to- fail :( . I was heaps sleepy from lying on the porch. i saw ducks in the bush. in lambton :S, and they flew up really high & stood around in the trees- trippyy. i got soo bored which is strange cos nobody else says they get bored when runnin. ive just discovered i am incredibly tired and my quads hurt.

The weather was sooo beautiful today. It srsly took me 3hrs to get outta bed and go for a run, cos i was worried about it bein cold. Ive been wishing for warmth and sunshine this past week and i finally got it today. yesss. Im quite sore in some odd places like knees, ankles, mainly in the quads but. it hurts to touch them. is that normal? But it was really nice. I couldnt think of anywhere else i wanted to go so it was only short. I really should go exploring in the bush someday, thatd be awesome. Im thinkin of goin for my super long run tmow to gear up for the king of the mountain!! but its only like a wk befor so mayb theres no point...? oh and im considerin doin a half marathon on my birthday

Wasnt v hyped befor the race. Had a good start, stayed in 4 position whole race (overtook 1, got overtaken by 1). All the hunter girls were so supportive :) team mhs put in a solid effort but i think their abilities were partly impaired by a)gettin up at 4am, b)the sheer amount of food eaten, c)pre race aerobics. lol i love them. i hav mixed feelings about my result. frustrated/disappointed that i didnt make nationals. hmm.. cant decide btwn intense training or none at all. ill prolly make a half hearted attempt.
today was heaps of fun & josh ran soooo well :D im so proud, wat a machine :O!!!

STILL resting. actually felt reallyyyy tired today and sore in strange places. Another active rest day- hecitc uphill walk w heavy schoolbag and slider hockey in sport (so scarry, its basically rugby). Havent thought much about my race tmow but its a bittt daunting. Todays banana count= 3. im havin much fun replicatin a certain animal :P

Considerin puttin track as diff activity. 1km: 3.21, 600m: 1.55, 400m: 75(?), 300m: 49(?), 200m: none. hmm there coulda been somethin else :S lane 3 was officialy a party lane hehe. and i nearly caned myself on the bunting :P, thats when i wasnt busy tryin to keep my tights up. aah hectic! it was kinda slack that i didnt do the extra two thingies but i needed the time to get ready. showers were so funny. plus my legs burned and i dont think itll make a diff on fri newyas. hmm i dont think it needed that much justification..zzz.. sorry guys

Bush run w ipod yayy. tried hard up the hills, eased off in the middle, fell over whilst adjustin the volume. worked hard towards the end. I kinda always run in this pattern. running w music is soo fun. My right calf has been burnin a bit lately, how lame. nitm for track tmow. my emotional biorhythm is at +100% so.. watch out, lol :P havent been workin too hard lately, dc that much about state nemore

30mins is weak but im happy i didnt wanna go so. is it just me or was there a prevailing sense of doom today ^o)..? i need to take a break after state to resolve some issues.plus running is booring. im so stressed atm but i hav no motivation in any areas of life. oh yeah and my abs were a bit sore probs from all my heavy breathin yesterday.

Dk about the xact time, as usual. Joshwaa started at bit after me but caught me (of course) so we ran togetha for a bit, which was nice :) i liked the pace but couldnt keep it up cos im not a machinee :( ther are no guys to chase at trainin atm. my calves burned like it was track. i feel a bit bad for sorta givin up with a quarter to go, i was wrecked
it was great to see more orienteers todayy. i tried to cheer them on when i was out on course :D

only 3hrs sleep :O slept on the plane, to rock music lol. spent 5hrs shoppin today, hectic. it was almost midnight by the time i got around to goin for a run. felt rly fast prolly cos it was flat nd on roads.

forgot to mention the hardcore supermarket orienteering i did todayy. i found one of those interactive mappy things and looked for a supermarket cos i was starving all of a sudden and the shops had closed. it took me like 20mins of hustle before i found it..

Screwed up the first leg major, soz alex. i was heaps, uh dunno, wen i got back. kinda sick of brambles & barbed wire fences. probs couldve avoided them if i had read my map better. the rest was aok. it felt good running fast, more like wat i usually do. had trubble findin the controls on mounds & stuff. it took a while for my brain to adjust. i dont think anyone else has these problems :S

Not sure about the distance, climb, or time. but watevss. twas decent, caned my back on a tree. got of to a bad start. quite cautious but i think it paid off. didnt overrun anythin, stopped a bit thinkin i mightve passed it, only to find it in another hundred ms or so & be like, why did i stop back there..? i suck at scales

Luckily i didnt hav to drink that glucose crap. it was intense, im not very good at cycling lol. My legs and kankle burnedd. i felt heaps tired and a bit funny afterwards, nic and george got a bit worried lol.

Did a course with Matt, Darvo shadowed us. I felt like I learnt heaps, it made oing seem so simple. nav was much more accurate. i wish it always seemed simple like that.

my ribbon came out. i forgot boris!! & proper socks. baseplate went alright. put 3mins for markin map. dk cos no watch. spent few mins lookin for 3 (sillly). went off a path too early & spent a few mins at 7. looked at contours when in bush, veg, collected some features, took bearings. was v cautious. cleanest run so far. time not so good, i took my time planning nd stuff. oh how i wish i could run fast and navigate. wish i was progressing a bit faster. dunno how others went. dk if i wanna get better at long oranges or start on reds.

went off fast chasin tia (she does 800s). caught her. sore throat afterwards, felt sick like yesterday :( apas from eating too close befor. i then felt soo tired, i could barely keep my eyes open. time was better than excpected still far off. hans was happy but. the steeple was cancelled! probs couldntve done it anyways.
soo tired! i must pack. and my plane for melbourne leaves next monday at 6am- killer.

no time, forgot my watch but times are always depressing. the podiatrist fixed my foot (magickk). shopping today :D i got a pair of shorts that are almost offensively pink nd they hav a pocket. been tryin to think of inneresting stuff to put in it! was slow today. the slowness was palpable. won my grade but that doesnt say much. felt really sick afterwards. i hav a feeling im getting sick!

took milo for a run. walkin doesnt cut it anymore. hes developin behaviour problems (ie chewing my retainers/ hairbrush/ matches). had to stop at 11mins while he fraternized with toby. he gets a bit hot cos of his fur coat. i made sure i didnt jog too fast cos hes quite small.
possibly sneaking away from nib games to go oing!

rly tired today. went t school but didnt spend much time in school/awake. we played ultimate frizbee in pe & i couldnt do much. pretty sweet game tho. ach nein my foot pain is back :O ive got an appt at the podiatrist. my mum thinks ill hav to rest it (ie not go to camp) for state. but.. i dont think so. this is so riddikulous. wtf its a blister :S it burned the whole time & i had to cut off the hill at the end. limped up it. gee im pathetic :(

no time for trrraining today. epic 14hr day. early class, 4 periods of exams, straight to work till 11pm. 2 periods of futsal in sport but didnt do much cos cait had a serious meltdown and jessie compound fractured herself. its been such a teary week. Her arm was twisted at this funny angle and the ambos had to cut her jumper off, put a needle in her hand and take her away. she has to have surgery :'( so saadd :'(
my legs were sore today which is goood. finished exams. im free :P rly feel like running now but its probs not very safe on the streets of lambton at midnight.

just kristy and myself :D three by 1ks (3.21, 3.28, 3.29). if i could hit 3.20 or under in my sets id b happy but its earrly days. six by 200ms alone. tried stayin on the balls o my feet. felt nice round the bends.i have prickles in shoes and splinters in my knees too. track was much better tonite. prolly didnt try hard enuff but. tryin to conserve some energy for other areas of life..lol.
winged it in history cos i missed out on the essay question (apas given out weeks befor the exam) evry1 was tryin to memorise their practise essays and i only found out about it 10mins before the test :O
