Bush Orienteering race 1:34:56 [3]

first 4 controls were smoooth. then i lost concentration and contact with my map, just kept on running. eventually got to control 5 but then screwed my shortest leg..lol. got kinda lost and had a minor freak out. found control 7, skipped 6 the next two wer basic. couldve gone back to 6 but i could tell id been out there for a while. i was soo happy with the first half. some legs were long and there werent many features, plus i kinda suck at reading contours. i wasnt as careful after control 4 i guess. i think it was a good experience (Y). i just dont see why i cant go smooth the whole way :S

warmed up a bit. so chilly in canberra..brr.
nearly fell over the fence at the start line- skills.lol :P

was a bit stressed to begin with. spent 25mins looking for the first control. found it by taking a bearing from a fence to a termite mound and spotting it. a bit frustrated cos the rest was all good. it wasnt even a hard leg.

Warm up was retardedd thanks to mee..hehe :P runthroughs et cetera. Warmed down also.

Running intervals 30:00 [4]

hmm. it think this is intervals. a bit slack on the first 2- 6.20ish, 6.15ish. Tried much harder in the 2nd, 5.40ish. Probs an indication i wasnt rly workin the first two, lazzy. It was winddyyy at one point. wind is difficult. Sore arms after the last. knees feeling a bit sore from all this road running. rly cant decide wether or not to run tmow :S, just cant.

v. wett! my muscles felt all tired and heavy so i took it a bit easier but was consistent. went through many puddles and clothes got rlly heavy, i also felt the windd. almost got ran over by a kombi van.

woot. gettin flexy hammies. but i think my seleuses or watever arr getting tight again, either that or i was getting lactic acid todayy. stiff knees also.

not much, not even runthroughs. trying to keep warrm. winter has arrived def

Running 40:00 [3]

usual course too wet so we did 4X1ks along the racecourse. We did 1 edge fast, then walked/jogged together, and so on. Got muddy. started off a bit crap but got better and over took jack in the last..hehe :P. nah didnt time them but rly tried to get speed up cos thats wat hans wants me workin on. I hav a training programme now. didnt think i could be stuffed but felt alright once i got going. running along flat road is madd :)

soore today, bruised all over from epic stacks at work, gaah. i want to do something but lack the botheredness. feel like im in a rutt. only 7wks of training left.
