was ok. we lost >10minutes at one control looking for a termite mound. that was annoying. it reminded me of wallaroo or watever. hmm i dont seem to be learning from my mistakes.
i think i took some gnarly route choices. i fought that green, but i think the green won.
lost my map! luckily i had mother w me so i took hers, yeaah
apparently i am 'uncanny'
all i could think of today was alligator skin. lol

couldnt go for a fast run today cos id only just gotten up from my afternoon slumber (yea it was a tough day, actually) and wasnt really awake.
my feets & legs were all swollen and bruised and my knees hurt.
but it was
.... fiiiiine.
im having a little bit of trouble w my running atm.

Street Orienteering race 48:00 [4] *

knees were sore i shouldve warmed up, i messed up my start time a bit. lol. also messed up about 10mins in & ran past 4 points. i knew i was pretty much done then. was 3mins late (i love sprinting to the end). right shoe was undone for 30mins of it. aaaah! i lost time at a 2F reading the sign :S lol
1K, 2B, 1S, 1L, 1R, 3B, 1N, 2E, 2C, 2I, 1B, 1D, 1E, 2G, 2A, 3E, 2J, 2F, 2D. route choice was questionable. didnt mark my map so didnt really know where id been. almost took the wrong road again from 2J to 2F (that wouldve been nasty :P)
it wouldve been nice to have done a bit better but it was great fun: thanks heaps mr.b! :)
btw ppl look at u like an alien when u run around w a map!
and i felt unusually calm running today :) very clear head indeed

hans wanted me to do three 1ks <3.20. which is reasonable. did 1st in 3.23 & didnt do anymore. four 300ms: 55, 54, 51, 58. we had a heaps long break after the 3rd (talked about the funniest stuff, tia and lara and kristy were there= yay!) & wen i started running i felt like my hip was gonna fall off :S
ran really badly today and was disappointed i coudlnt do wat hans expected of me. my legs just wouldnt go or something. i honestly dont know why.
in other news: the field has been tilled or something so we cant walk on it. weird :P
Note
had killer cramps in my calf muscles all morning. so bizarre. no idea why. last time i got them was in year 8 i think?
