Note

the weather was beautiful in the morning. we were all standing outside in our jeans and jumpers for about half an hour and you could feel the warm sun. felt too tired for more skiing but really didnt want to leave :(
the whole bus, plane, bus, plane, car thing is kinda annoying. had quite a bad plane trip.

Skiing (All Day) 6:00:00 [4]
shoes: SKI BOOTS

we did at least 6hrs today (before & after lunch). its the last day so we didnt have a lesson. we went to hanazono in the am & annupuri in the pm. the weather wasnt great but it was manageable w hooded chairlifts and gondolas.
blueberry fields i think was the best run on the mt. it was a semi cleared path through forest. pete & i kinda ignored it and bashed right through the really steep, really thick forest. we also decided to go through the forest alongside family run in the semi dark wout slowing down at all, that was fun. i end up real awkward on the edge of the big drop onto the run with my skis facing the wrong way so i tried to go through a tree, ended up in the splits and had to unclip my skis= good times :D
annupuri was nice too. i always feel really good practising technical elements there.

Skiing (Lesson) 2:00:00 [4]
shoes: SKI BOOTS

most epic powder overnight!! seriously like a metre. after the mass bfast we got in our pension we hung around for a bit when it wouldve been incredible to be the first out there. not being used to the sheer amount of snow we all stacked. i only stacked once and then peter stacked trying to spray me. ever since that day i got him up to his head hes been on a revenge mission, and failed every time.
anyway mother had a crazy stack where she fully disappeared for a few mins, all u could see wer her stocks waving around. falling over doesnt matter tho cos the snow is so soft.
really cold like minus 15 today. the fact i was starting to get frostbite kinda started to decrease my enjoyment in the latter stages of the lesson.

Skiing (Afternoon) 2:00:00 [3]
shoes: SKI BOOTS

it was really cold and snowing pretty heavily today so we didnt stay out long after lunch (today was the day we discovered the niseko bakery- it was literally sweeet).

Skiing (Lesson) 2:00:00 [3]
shoes: SKI BOOTS

manny took us to hanazono wher i found a v nice hat. bahaha. zoe joined the group. shes a really weak skier. her style is nice but shes always scared and squealing. we did 360s, i do too many and get dizzy asss.
also skiid backwards a bit. pete & i can ski backwards better than mum can ski forwards.

Skiing (Afternoon) 5:00:00 [3]
shoes: SKI BOOTS

we went to hanazono. there are 3: annupuri, grand hirafu, hanazono. we spend the most time in hirafu cos its in the middle. we did a lot of skiing today, right into the night. it was really clear and beautiful to look out at the lights of kutchan twinkling amongst mt yotei. also the snow sparkles in the lights :) we saw a fox on a run today while we were in the chairlift, it looked real cute :P

went further into annupuri this time. superstition was tiering, mass moguls and steep. they had western music playing on the runs it was strange, i didnt like it.

Skiing (lesson) 2:00:00 [3]
shoes: SKI BOOTS

spent a lot of time goofing- ie snowploughing straight down and covering ppl w my powder spray. hehe
cant wait for jindy!!!!

Skiing 5:00:00 [4]
shoes: SKI BOOTS

went over to annupuri. clear day & awesome view of mt yotei!
ski boots are killing me.. most painful footwear ever!
pete & i went down some nice steep double blacks w moguls. its the only thing that gets u warm/is challenging. soo much easy/int terrain.decided going fast and PLOUGHING is the way. lol
also went on some good adventures- went under a rope barrier into 10m deep powder, couldnt see my skis, then i had to take them off to jump of a cliffy thing.
manny keeps tellin me to have my skis wider in powder and i probly should cos i have my skis too close- pretty much touching- they cross together sometimes and i fall over. but i dont wanna be less parallel!
imon the comp wher we had dinner and this keyboard is an Rtard. ie- お氷魚が染む巣 (good morning in japanese, skills i knowwww)
perfect day today :)
