i went running 10 minutes after dinner so unsurprisingly I felt unwell. it was the only available time after work/before town tonight. i worked 60 something hours this week? i think i have done well to fit training in at all.

i picked the wrong time of the day to go running. it was so hot, i felt like i was dying. i ran hard too.
i weighed myself this morning for the first time in 8 weeks or so and discovered i have lost 4kgs which is quite significant when you weigh less than 50kg. it is very mysterious to me because it was not at all intentional, i had chocolate cake for breakfast today :P despite this i am definitely aiming to improve my eating habits as i find it really has an impact when i increase my training. complex carbohydrates and unprocessed foods it is!

i felt amazing running today. the time that i have had off means that 32 minutes feels like 45 but i will get there.
went out with the work girls tonight but i didn't drink. i would much rather sleep in my own bed haha.

another night run around lambton. to be honest i really don't think lambton is very safe at night. last time my cousins and i were walking around there at night the police diverted us because they were searching for criminals in a park with a sniffer dog.
the legs felt good tonight. going running at night definitely helps me wind down.

i wanted to train today but i didn't have any spare time between 5am when i got up and 10pm when i fell asleep. my partner of 8 months told me tonight that he is moving interstate in a few weeks :?

9pm was the earliest free time i had to go running. i went straight after eating caramel icecream haha.
my muscles were a bit sore today but nothing major. i really want to go to street o tomorrow but i am prioritizing getting my hair done. tough call.
oh i feel so emotionally exhausted at the moment.

this was my first run in 6 weeks! it feels amazing to be running again despite the hangover. i carry more weight on my chest and it means i experience constant back/shoulder strain when running. i have strengthened my core muscles but it hasn't made much difference. i think i might incorporate either swimming or light weights into my training program in the hope that increased upper body strength will alleviate the problem? :/
