NOY 2 at brokenback east. ran ok sort of, hit some watercourses a little off but didn't lose much time and knew exactly which direction i had to turn anyway. big slog to 8 was nasty and i didn't really enjoy the last 5 controls, i think that area probably could have been avoided, especially when there was some nice watercourses to the west of the map. course dist 6ks.

x country at ash island. have been demoted down to C grade off the back of some not so great runs but i thought no worries hopefully i'll be able to win C grade for the long course.
nope. i came 4th out of the 5 guys in C doing the long. dammit.
reality is x country is my longest run of the week atm and its a race. so i die in the arse after about 6 ks. would have liked to have gone under 4min/ks for such a flat course. i know when i was in good running form that i probably would have.
bottom line, need to get fitter and faster again.

run from uni down to and around jesmond bush tracks. Didnt feel that great cos it was lunch time and i was really hungry the whole way through

intervals fail. tried training at uni for first time, but the track on the oval outside the forum has faded into almost non existence so i had to guess where the first bend used to be and try to mark it out with my bag and casual shoes. then i started doing 400m on 2 min cycle but it got dark and i couldn't even see where the remains of the track once were anymore so i was pretty much guessing my whole 400m loops. times were extremely varied too so i just went home. guess i'll have to try something else for uni training
