resting. knee hurts alot, think i banged it on something yesterday. everything else is fine though, so hopefully tomorrow will be the start of some decent training between now and jwoc

Orienteering race 1:41:00 [5] *** 16.26 km (6:13 / km)

NOL long. some small time losses on 2 and 3 meant that brodie caught me halfway on the long leg to 5. this wasn't so bad though cos it pushed me along harder. felt like i was doing well. however i lost brodie on the way to 13 cos i decided to go through the green and then after that began to feel fatigued and started making rookie mistakes. after the spectator i missed the next control then lost contact in the vague gully system and bounced off at least 3 different controls before finding mine. was very tired at the end, and my foot was hurting a little, but not unbearable. pleased to get through the weekend without too much foot bother, but still seeing a doctor tomorrow about it.

NOL sprint at the uni. started well and local knowledge helped heaps. but i got tired quickly, stacked it on the way to 15 and then after the spectator control was absolutely smashed. so my time wasn't so good but no foot pain was great! came 3rd

NOL middle. felt good physically but gee my compass work was shocking, kept missing controls and losing lots of time. nailed some legs but the rest was just woeful. came 7th. great new map though

New shoes! felt amazing. foot still a little sore but able to run and wasn't painful after. seeing someone on monday. will run sprint/ middle and see how that goes

Seeing what it felt like to run. Have been feeling the pain radiate up into my ankle from my foot so wore my ankle brace and everything felt fine. Which is good news for the sprint/middle this weekend :) long still a question mark.
