Orienteering 51:24 [5]

Score at Drumpellier in cold, windy and occasionally snowy conditions. Enjoyed it nonetheless, and ran pretty well other than faffing for half a minute or so when 42 didn't appear (it was hung on the wrong fence). Managed to pip RogerG for the win, due either to my cunning choice of route, local knowledge, or Rog having ~30km in his legs from the previous day.

Running warm up/down 25:00 [2]

Warm up from the station (partly in the company of the planner - Arnis - who had slept in!), plus a warm down to work out what was going on at 42. Somewhat amused/appalled at the number of people who assured me they had found it and it was definitely correct.

Running 1:25:00 [3]

Out along the canal to Bishopbriggs, into a stiff breeze for pretty much the whole way. Back down the other side as far as Lambhill (much easier with a tailwind), then turned left to Ruchill and home via Cowlairs. Was a bit tired towards the end, but pleased with the overall feeling and the lack of ill effects after.

Running 15:00 [4]

Shortish hill session in the park after working late. 4 x longer hills with short recovery. Legs not too bad, but didn't enjoy breathing in such cold air

Running 50:00 [2]

Hamiltonhill and Ruchill Park, with some additional detours. Had planned on doing an hour plus, but found a lot of stiffness and twinges after hills so decided to be sensible. Surprisingly pleasant evening for it.

Tuesday Feb 7, 2017 #

Running 15:00 [5]

Solo hills on Gardner Street - 7 x up and down, though did throw in some extra recovery after the 4th rep. Just about avoided complete collapse at the top of the final one.

Running warm up/down 35:00 [2]

Circuitous route out to Hyndland, and then a slow stagger home after hills.
