Note

Calves incredibly tight, presumably from unaccustomed X-trainer motion. Had planned on an off-road run, but decided it was too much of a risk. The morning weather made the decision easier.

Bike, X-trainer and recumbent bike. Feeling pretty jaded after a stressful week.

Intervals on the exercise bike. Working hard and sweating a lot!

Late evening escape around Kelvigrove - way too much work on to do anything more. At least I'm getting a bit more confidence running off road in the dark. Stiffness from yesterday's rowing in the muscles / tendons around the R hip, but I think (hope!) it's the good kind of stiffness.

Gym 30:00 [3]

Easing into the gym routine. 20 mins rolling hills on the exercise bike, followed by 10 minutes on the rowing machine. Haven't done the latter for a long time - interesting feelings in the hips/lower back afterward.
