Cowlairs figure-of-eight, Hamiltonhill and looping around Ruchill Park, including a trip to the flagpole. Lovely morning for it, and a good end to another solid week of running. Next week will be easier, partly due to the massive marking backlog I have to work through.

Easy late afternoon run, including the newly pedestrian-only Kelvin Way.

Running 55:00 [3]

St George's Road / Garscube Road / Maryhill / Dawsholm Road / canal / river. Bit of a grind for the last section, but generally pleased with the feeling. Managed to coincide with the start of the heavy showers, which was actually quite enjoyable to run through. Quite surprised at the amount of traffic on Maryhill Road - pretty sure not all those journeys were essential.

Hilly fartlek session in the park. A mix of longer and shorter climbs and sprints, pretty much all on the grass. Mostly stayed dry, having missed the earlier hail shower. Legs very much lacking in bounce though.

Running 55:00 [3]

Rain! Expected fewer people out, so decided to risk the walkway up to Maryhill (pretty quiet) and the canal path all the way to Speirs Wharf (busier, but not too bad), then home. Moderate headwind for much of the canal section made it a good workout, but I felt surprisingly OK at the end apart from a bit of stiffness around the L knee.

A couple of loops of the park, with some pausing for stretching and calf exercises on the steps. Cool and cloudy morning conditions meant far fewer people about than last week.
