Out to Tollcross Park on a fairly direct route through the city centre. Traffic very quiet, but rather a lot of red light delays. Didn't get lost...

Tollcross Park maprun course. Very pleasant outing on a sunny and crisp morning. Struggling physically (this was basically flat out by current standards) but for once was largely on top of the navigation. Time puts me tied for 3rd with Gordon H, but I don't think I could get near the two ahead. R hip not happy after running, but given the week coming up I suspect it'll get a decent recovery.

Home from Tollcross on a more interesting and enjoyable although longer and hillier route. Legs a bit fatigued after running hard.
Clyde lamppost-O in Milngavie. Nice course, made more tricky by being printed at 1:7500 which made some cut-throughs practically invisible when running. A bit scrappy at first, but no real errors other than playing it overly safe with the route choices. Pleased enough to be among the leading old men, albeit well beaten by the youth contingent.

Out to the event through Bearsden and home via Milngavie. Made it home in reasonable daylight.
Home - Bishopbriggs - Torrance - Baldernock - Mugdock Village - visitor centre - Bearsden - home. Making the most of a rather lovely day, though unfortunately managed to time the homeward bit to coincide with the Bearsden school run.
