Out to Gleniffer Braes on a cold and grey morning. Quiet traffic meant getting to Paisley was straightforward enough apart from a diverson to avoid a road closure. The last section up to the car park was pretty hard work though.
Orienteering 42:45
Maprun "Blue" course on Gleniffer West (thankfully only 4.1km). Definitely the most orienteering-y orienteering I've done in a long time, so I tried to focus on finding things rather than moving fast. It just about worked, though I did get fairly confused around 4. Had fun at times interpreting the paths, some of which have variously moved, shrunk or materialsed from thin air. Great to be out in terrain with a map, as well as to catch up with a few folk - thanks to Andy and Dave for planning/organising.

Alternative scenic route home via Neilston and the Dams. Only missed one turn (briefly), despite road closures, new building, and various other unexpected obstacles. The run down from Newton Mearns-ish to Pollok was good fun, but I was quite glad to get home.
