Training Log Archive: paw

Very icy on anything that wasn't a big road, so adjusted plans accordingly. Out along GWR to Clydebank, down past Dalmuir station, and home on the flat route. Considered going as far as Bowling basin, but some quite dense and unpleasant fog near the river dissuaded me even from this.

Variation on the usual Bishopbriggs - Baldernock - Milngavie - Maryhill loop on a surprisingly pleasant day despite some quite wet roads. More traffic than expected, both on four wheels and two.

Feeling intermittent localised pain in my thigh muscle with no apparent cause - I assume it must be nerve-related. Rather odd, but not enough to make me join the ranks of injury-flagged Clyde members.

A few steady uphill efforts with jog/walk down the steep path in the park. Not much, but given that it was dark and windy with heavy sleety rain I feel I did well to get out the door at all.
