Orienteering 24:55 [4]

Maprun course at Baljaffray (confusingly rebranded as Bearsden Academy) that us Glasgow folk missed out on on Thursday. Nice course - not too long (3.9km straight line; ~5km running) and not too much up and down. Hip and ankle were both complaining so never felt able to go flat out, but still felt pretty tired by the end.

Cycling 45:00 [3]

Out to Bearsden and back.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Jogging before the start.

Cycling 1:00:00 [3]

Repeat of Sunday's canal / cycle path route. Passed two teenager parties on the raised bit of the cycleway, one of about 20 people and the other of at least 50. I guess Covid must be over...

Circuits 20:00 [3]

Apparently this was World Bicycle Day, so a bit of a fail there. Mind you, it seems June 2nd was Global Running Day and I didn't manage that either...I guess I'm not exactly on brand.

Cycling 55:00 [3]

Escape after a long and stressful work day. Out beyond Bishopbriggs into a surprisingly strong headwind, and then blown back along the canal. Lovely evening once again.

Cycling 50:00 [3]

Out to Wilderness Woods and back.

Running 35:00 [3]

Terrain practice - this is getting progressively harder as the undergrowth shoots up, but it's still reasonably enjoyable for now (apart from the new obstacle of spider webs!). With the heat and sun it reminded me of running in Latvia in the 2000s, where they specialised in sending us through flat greenish areas instead of the adjacent runnable moraine. Sadly, WW doesn't have any runnable moraine nearby! Easy trudging apart from the last 10 minutes which were as fast as I could manage.
