Asquith 1:10k street/bush map for Garingal:
from OSM line work to OSM (global changes of symbols from OSM tags to OCAD/OOM numbers ) to OCAD11 file, add georeferenced background images and hillshading; add contours from ELVIS gridded data
result is 2 hours of work to get full basemap, georeferenced, standard symbol set, and 5m contours - didn't have to draw one line or object during process (did delete some unnecessary objects) - comparable time last year would have been best part of 2 days.
major issuer is the mapper wants to use OCAD8 - told him to at least get O11/O12 viewer to see what he is missing out on.
