orienteering race 1:33:00 [3] ** 2.2 km (42:16 / km) +40m 38:45 / km
weight:80.4kg shoes: HH2

NOY 1 - Fairley Dams, wet of West Wallsend - Easy 2km
first bush event post-op - on 2 crutches around the Easy course - enjoyed the physical challenge, and tried a couple of off-track route options. Getting my right foot caught on the clumps of bladey grass was always a problem, and had to be careful about vines on the ground as well.

had to crawl up the creek bank on the marked route from 8 to 9 - put my right foot too far up the bank and couldn't lift myself or slide my foot back down so had to go onto hands and knees.

no gps track today - for some reason the Forerunner10 decided I wasn't going fast enough ( or totally lost signal in the bush) after #8 and stopped recording without saving anything - didn't realise until I got to the finish where I started recording again just to be able to finish off the track, and ended up with the only track for the day lasting for 3 seconds.
