StreetO race (SummerStreet) 47:07 [4] ** 2.92 km (16:08 / km) +80m 14:12 / km
weight:78.3kg shoes: HH2+crutches

Summer Street #2 at Blackbutt/New Lambton - some thunder and lightning, and mostly light rain - made the paths and roads a bit slippery, and the steeper sections (up & down) were hard work and slow on crutches.
hit sub 12min/km pace for a couple of hundred metres across Novo Park, but slowed to half this pace 23.5min/km up the steepest (and slippery) section of Jean Ston the way into finish

Happy with route choice and scoring potential, just misjudged the achievable pace in the conditions

vol photographer for newy parkrun ( & 25th volunteer session) - almost 600 photos editted down to 300+ for newy parkrun Facebook page, The aim was to get recognisable photos of as many runners as possible, but also as much variation in background, action pose, funny pose, volunteers in action, etc as possible too - a set of photos all with the same point of view, and tiny figures in the frame, is as boring for the viewer as it is for the photographer. Happy with results, but a lot more effort required for 400+ runners at newy than for 60-70 at callaghan; no rest time until the last few stragglers!

then for afternoon/night relaxation (?) mounted about 250 photo prints on panels for Dad's 90th tomorrow.

lots of effort but no real exercise today!
