Park Series #1 at what was originally "Diamonds Galore" at Stevenson Park - short course (nominal 2.4km)

good turnout (111 starts) with almost perfect weather: warm, light breeze, not too humid, no mosquitoes - so lots of people stayed around talking , catching up.

fewer problems with cadence at top of pedal stroke, but still had occasional problem with right heel rotating in and bumping on crank - will have to play around with shoe/strap combo again - short term fix today involved sitting well to right on saddle, probably not good for alignment..
