Running 1:00:56 [3]

With Josh along Newcastle foreshore. Ugh! Just so so humid. I was loving long runs overseas but this felt 10x harder than any of them and it was only a 60min run! It's the breathing, I don't remember that ever being so hard. It's like the air does nothing, or like i'm in a big cube of stagnant hot air, or a glass case of emotion. Either way i was really weak and i think it's going to take me a while to toughen up!

Running 45:48 [3]

Jog out at Walka. First time i've seen kangaroos or heard a cow mooing on a run in a while! Super super humid which i didn't really enjoy, but I could smell pumpkin soup and cannot for the life of me understand why someone would want to eat soup in this weather!? Madness.

Orienteering race (Sprint Canberra race 5) 23:58 [3]

Bit of a shocker of a way to finish the races... Lost alot of time in the beginning with mistakes and i lost all urgency towards the end. Overall it was a super fun camp and super fun races, but i'm pretty bummed about how i went. I know i hadn't done alot of speed work but i didn't quite realise how crazy far behind i'd be! And i dont think a whole lot of how I was feeling can be blamed on jetlag!

Orienteering race (Sprint Canberra race 3) 25:51 [3]

Not too bad until I slipped into a pit of blackberry bushes and had to get pulled out. Lost a solid 1:30-2minutes which was super super super frustrating! I guess it's lucky i was in the mass start though because if nobody else was around it could've been a while longer... Really fun sprint though! I just need to read the fine details more and be a bit more disciplined with my direction

Running warm up/down 12:00 [3]

Orienteering race (Sprint Canberra race 4) 20:47 [3]

Felt best about this urban sprint compared to the others this week. Really concentrated on my planning and it went alright. Slowed alooooott in the second half though, it's bad :|

Running 38:00 [3]

Warm up.
3km time trial with a twist, relatively ok with but i struggled to push harder.
Then a little jogging and the PISTE test which i thought was really fun. 400m sprint while remembering where 4 controls were on a map with 4 controls and then you had to draw the controls on a blank map after.
Warm down.

Running warm up/down 20:00 [3]

Orienteering race (Sprint Canberra race 2) 18:45 [3]

Started off navigating ok but i just did not feel like i was in control at all when we got into super tricky bits. Got really exhausted by the end too.
