At Walka again but today I was a bit of a fool and didn't take my watch. Picked a section I thought was about 10mins for a tempo but obviously have no idea what my pace actually was. Felt good during that but real crap after, legs got tired and it was really tough going in the heat!

Ded. 5x 3min out at Walka. Legitimately terrified on my way out there because it feels so long since i've done intervals and i've felt pretty average on my last two runs. Not super fast, but all relatively consistent. The second was a bit of a dud but I think when I look at my watch too soon I stress out and convince myself i'm on struggle street. Picked it up and felt alot stronger on the last three. Close to that vom line today...

Easy jog from home. Didn't actually feel so easy though because I was so slow and sluggish. Was an alright temperature out but I'd had a really slow morning which probably didn't help.

Completely flat map this week. Feel like I should have run further, every time I looked at my watch my pace was ok but I guess I had a few too many sloppy stops finding power pole numbers and stuff... Felt this mornings strength session in my abs so maybe my legs were a bit more fatigued than I realised too, definitely did slow in the end. Ran just as far at bar beach the other week and that had a few hills so kinda cranky, but oh well!

Warm up with drills and a warm down. Surprised how spritely i felt on the way home...

Couldn't get to flyers intervals today because I have work, hopefully that doesn't happen too much!
2* 4x 1min hills with an extra 90 seconds in between sets. Its been a while since i've done hills here so I can't remember if I was getting good distance but I was consistent at least. Happy enough, and happier to be getting into proper training again after some super dodgy weeks.
