Running tempo 54:00 [3]

Realised at about 11 last night that I didn't actually have a way of getting to parkrun so I decided i'd do a run with 2 x 10min tempos in the middle. I find these tough anyway let alone after a 30 degree night which meant a poor sleep and that the whole of the Hunter was already like a sauna at 8am. Didn't feel particularly fast but pleased I managed to work this hard when the air was pretty tough to breathe in.

Running 26:00 [3]

So short but it was so hot. And a tad uncomfortable running after yesterdays fall.

Strength + Conditioning 35:00 [3]

A bit of everything

Note

Also realised last night I can do a chin up. Proud.
9 AM

Running warm up/down 17:00 [3]

Some drills too.

Running hills 15:48 [3]

Legs felt so heavy and tired in the warm up but pleasingly ok on the hills. 8x1min, was getting good distance from the last time I did hills there from memory, and they were consistent. Had a big stack on the downhill before the last rep though, legs were a little too floppy I guess. Pretty lucky I didn't land on a big rock!

Running warm up/down 16:00 [3]

6 PM

Strength + Conditioning 4:00 [3]

Checking I still have at least one stomach muscle.

Running 1:12:20 [3]

Struggled around my streeto clues before tonight. It was hot and I felt so crap and lethargic. Can't imagine we'll get a huge turn out in Tenambit if it gets as hot as it's meant to today...

Running warm up/down 33:00 [3]

Running intervals 12:00 [3]

Half intervals session after the big week, and then I chose the one with the shortest total time possible because I had to do it at 2pm when it was 39 degrees. Pace was ok but 3*3/1 has never felt so hard. Take me back to Falls!

Note
(rest day)

Giving the legs a rest to prevent further abuse from Josh ;) Also have a bit of a sore back though, I guess just from the travel.

Running long 1:33:08 [3]

Love love loved this run. Super pretty views and nice cool weather. First 22minutes was straight up out of te village then along and up to Mt Mckay. Felt better today than all of the other days too, it been like a constant improvement and now we've got to leave! Definitely would be keen for this trip to happen again, a lot!
