Orienteering 41:13 [3] 4.2 km (9:49 / km) +185m 8:03 / km

ok race. started out well and hit the first 4 without any difficulty. i was definitely slow, though. definitely out of shape. 5 was a slight bobble. i left the trail too late which led to a 30s error. number 6 was my big problem, where i lost at least 1:30. 7 would have been bad, because the control was hidden, but balter apparently knew what was going on and saved me. the rest was pretty smooth except the 2nd to last where i lost maybe 15-30s. overall not bad considering i actually ran the whole thing without pain.

Note

PT was rough today. The guy "massaged" my leg with some metal thing which has left some worrying looking red patches. It wasn't too comfortable (as in it hurt) when he was actually doing it.

Running 10:00 [3] 1.55 mi (6:27 / mi)

This was technically done tomorrow after a long night in the CAD lab, but it was done before I went to bed so I'll just pretend I did it at 11:59.

I ran on the treadmill, not sure why. Didn't want to go outside I guess. It was a nice run, though. I felt good and ran at a good comfortable pace. I did pick it up for a couple minutes just for fun, but nothing more than a 6/mile.

Running 10:00 [3]
shoes: GT 2150

It may have only been 10 minutes, but I felt great! No pains at all! Definitely out of shape, but it's great to finally be able to run again. I will continue to do my PT exercises, though. The roller is good all around and the stretching can't do much but help.
