Training with Giacomo in the fells. We couldn't make it to Pawtuckaway because of logistics so we opted for our own training instead.

Really rough at first, but eventually I got back in to the swing of things. My technique was pretty bad though. I was running straight then relocating. It worked though, and I was able to run straight.

Noticed I was starting to get shin splints yesterday, so I thought it'd be better if I laid off the running today. Also, I fixed my bike (replaced the tube) and wanted to make sure it worked while also getting used to biking again. Hopefully I'll be back at the Cascades park trails soon.

Some good stuff first thing in the morning. When I say first thing, i mean I woke up at 10 (10:30?) ate breakfast, put my stuff on, realized my ipod was dead, charged my ipod, then went out. Did some single sticking and some good hard double polling on full resistance up a gradual hill. That's tough. Also, worked on my V2 a bit. Definitely getting more stable.

First run with the running club. Felt slow today. Also, the president ran with our group (the fast group) and he wasn't fast enough, and we're supposed to have someone important run with us so not really sure how that's going to work.

So there was ultimate tonight. Totally forgot about that when I decided I would ski and run on the same day. Fortunately I don't have any class today, so there was time, but I'm pretty tired now.

Ran 6:45s for the first 2 miles. I just felt really good when I started, then I realized I was moving right along and didn't want to slow down. Once I hit 2, though, I took it easy again.

also did 3x 200m strides.
