JUKOLA 3rd leg for SK Vuoksi

first time for me to run a night leg in Jukola, had no night training as preparation before but just tried to go safe as possible.
went out as 128th- had a good start catching some runners-
then up the slope to #7 I wasnt so secure and lost about 2min- then continued quite ok till the short legs in the middle, where I came off the line twice. then till the end went better. all in all satisfied with the performance considering preparation.

had stomache cramps basically throughout the race, guess the body didnt like to run in the night. Physically I felt stronger than the people I was running with, got a slight gap when stomache didnt feel so bad, but then they came back when stomache was worse....

in the end 75th place = best club result and top100 goal achieved. Bring on the next Jukola:)
