Orienteering 33:57 [4] 5.83 km (5:49 / km) +270m 4:44 / km

austrian relay champs on "Marwiese"

philo did a great job and came back as 5th (45sec down); even though I had the longer forking to #1, was in lead at #2, misinterpreting map to #3 and a parallel mistake costing me about 30sec, then the pack was a bit away, so taking a different route choice to #5 and this was the decisive mistake for us. couldn't catch any time and heli was gone. then a solid run with an insecurity to #16 I could gain some places and hand over to matze as 3rd (5sec behind SU Klagenfurt), but with 3 teams 30sec behind us.
Matze was going for silver till #10, then a mistake and unfortunately just 5th place.

in retrospect: I failed to hand over in first (or at least in the lead with heli), so that's why no medal.....

austrian middle champs on "Marwiese"

okayish race in the end, for not being able to run a lot the last two weeks and still some problems with my foot sole, I was more or less satisfied with the race. Last gear was missing and I had some wobbles:
too high on #1 (40sec), route choice to #15 and #16 and about 15sec mistake to second last control

9th place: 1min faster and would have been fifth, kerschi had an amazing time.

unintended longer wup as I had problems finding the meeting point

middle training on "mariatrost (new)"

was careful with my foot, but it didnt make any problems- just everything else hurts;)
had some wobbles on some controls and skipped the second last control as the vegetation in this area isn't mapped yet and control would have been in dark green

testing my leg and ankle seems about back to normal. foot sole is also better, will see tomorrow!
but, feeling sweat while running is so much better than aquajogging or cycling!
