Yeah, so... Planned a 4 mile out and back to the sugar bush, but, like the dumb fuck that I am, I left the car key in my backpack in the woods. Rather than do an hour in the woods on ice and snow crust, I opted to head toward home and hope Julie would come looking for me, or I'd get a cell signal. Both happened, but I had to do another 5 miles.
Otherwise, a very nice day!
About 35-40 gallons of sap, frozen.
