Note

First day missed this year... shoot. Blame sloth and gluttony.
Though...I did jog 1.5 miles carrying a heavy bag to catch the shuttle to Phoenix.

5.5 hours up S. Kaibab (took off 30:00 for rest stops) 45lb pack. 2500' to 7500' so almost a mile up in the sky. With Jim M.
Every muscle south of ears sore.

Grand Canyon with Jim Manley. Hiked 7 miles down South Kaibab Trail to Phantom Ranch campground. 55+ lb pack...going to have SORE legs. Good marathon training. (Actually took 4 hrs.)

Ran indoors! tiny track and treadmill...all slow except a 5:56 mile. Felt fast.
