Running 38:00 [3] 4.0 mi (9:30 / mi)
ahr:133 weight:169lbs shoes: SpeedGoat2

Park Point trail with Hansi (Julie and Izzy back there too.)
First time under 40:00 in a year I bet. Did some pick-ups to a max of 7:10 and HR never went above 153.

Running 44:00 [3] 3.0 mi (14:40 / mi)
shoes: Hoka Uit

SHT off of Foxfarm with dogs.
HR seemed unstable. Not enough sleep.

Running 58:00 [3] 5.0 mi (11:36 / mi)
weight:169lbs shoes: SpeedGoat2

Over to Hartley, various loops, around Marshall St, Wabasha, Woodland Av. Faribault, home. With Hansi.
Super sloppy and muddy on trails... been snowing all day.

weight circuit training 5:00 [3]

bicycles, plank, push-ups

Running 15:00 [3] 1.5 mi (10:00 / mi)
weight:169lbs shoes: Red Hoka Cliftons

Yet another mile and a half day... last minute dog trot at Owatonna Connector before dark. Leaves on trail are beautious, but dangerous.

Note

If I can...
1) run 5.48 miles/day for the rest of the year, I can avoid a disastrous sub-1000 mile year. The first in 49 years.
2) run one race, I'll avoid the ignominy of letting an entire year pass without racing.

My heart rate has remained normal these past few weeks, so I can't use that excuse anymore.
And, I entered Grandma's Marathon today... again.

Running 15:00 [3] 1.5 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: YellowHokaClayton2

Another epic 1.5 miles on the RRR in GP before finishing the drive to Duluth. Good to relax and sauna for 24 hours before going back to "the real world."
1.5 hours stacking firewood.

Running 15:00 [3] 1.5 mi (10:00 / mi)
shoes: YellowHokaClayton2

Back on Res River Rd after 6 hours of speeding through Canada. Ate Hoito...
Also, about 2:00 of stacking firewood (got 3 cords of birch.)

Running 20:30 [3] 2.0 mi (10:15 / mi)
ahr:121 max:148 shoes: YellowHokaClayton2

Had my/our first Quebec run ever down a mining road in Rouyn-Noranda. Turns out we weren't supposed to be in there and almost got locked inside the mine in our vehicle. Anyway... felt good to move.
