very good race im quite happy
lost time only based on a few bits where i was unsure about track feasibility

somebody tell the people that the distances on the oz O website results are all wrong. haha it says i took longer to ride the sprint(supposedly 4k) than i did to run another (4k). anyway yes i won this by five secs so same same really. but it was a good race and very technical sometimes

then i had a drink in another park
never went back to the library
went shopping at wollies
amazing how quickly you spend 50 bucks in a supermarket
then rode home with shoping

was happy with my run today. It did hurt tho and theres no way my performance was the same as i started at the start of the week. ergh too tired!

longest race i have ever run! it was epic
yet somehow my stamina held up better than i expected.
esp compared to me at say easter time, when 9k almost killed me
i was reasnbly happy cos i pipped max neve and was only just behind oliver crosato
BBBuuutt.... i miss punched a water control.
i went there and everything even checked the control code
but i was thinking about too many things
oh well you live and learn
oh and nav ets was fairly good only a few fluff ups

anyway more importantly i had a good run felt good about it. but i was still about 3 mins after 1st. and i was about 18th i think in 20E.
Sprints are not my strength so i need to work on my short time trials and stuff. yea.
otherwise i had an uber clean run. very little error. just pace issues

good race. Longest race ive ever run at that point in time. couldnt find 11 cos i misinterpreted the map... i still think it looks more on the spur than in the creek... but hey, obviously not! buggered a few control circle details up too. otherwise i am fairly happy with how my stamina held up... essp compared to the longer ones i did at easter this year, nearly killed me they did!

Went for a circuit around/up/down/near Mt Pleasant with Mum. Had to run ahead several times and turn around to stay approx the same time as her but ran together cos it was getting dark so you couldnt run that fast anyway. Was good. Yeah.

had a sick relief teacher in PE today so he let us just go to the outside court and play street rules Basket ball. It was mad fun. Got a bit hectic and aggro towards the end... there was even some blood! And then the cops came to shut us down!... nah they actually just pulled someone over on the road beside where we were. but it was funny anyway! :P wo hoo

Went for a solid 2 hour ride at stromlo with Eon. It was great fun. Could have gone for another hour if i had time but i had to go to a party :D . Yea. EXCITED FOR 24HR WOO!
oh yea and it was about 1.15 in light and 45 with lights...

ROde round lake G in the double free. was part of our "fitness and Leisure" unit (this was the leisure bit). It was quite leisurly, we took food and ate it so i think i didnt end up burning enough kJs cos we were so slow. was fun anyway.

OKKIEs!! epic story:

Two guys from my school. Kinda my freinds but not really. one is yr11 and one is yr12 so i will refer to them as 11 & 12 respectivly

So they go home on bus and both decide to go chill at 11's house. In the evening they get bored so the let off a few crackers on the driveway. 30 mins later the doorbell rings. 11 looks on his security screen (he has a security camera) and sees 3 cop cars parked outside. so sketched out he goes and answers the door, but no-one is there. Then 8 cops jump out with guns and tell him go get on his knees with his hands behind his back. Of course he does as he's told... they're like is anyone else home?? and he's like 12 is upstairs, so they go up and do the same to him. then they search the house to check for more peeps (but to no prevail). 11 and 12 then tell them they were just mucking round with crackers. police confiscate leftover crackers... and leave.

WTF! is what you are thinking?! well this is why it happened. a neighbor heard it and thought it was gunshots, so they called the pigs. on wednesday night, there was a double murder in downer, with a house burnt down, linked to a few other murders. So police were onto this in a flash all serious and stuff!

New: early friday morning (like 2am) police found the murderer parked by a road and arrested him.

So there you go! Jamie (11) and alex (12) had the experience not many people have!!... how wierd!

Fifteen mins of hills. It was hectic. I was really pushing it. I ran from the intersection at the bottom of the road up to the little sign in the courtyard at the top, about 150 metres. I did this up and down 6 times, the up again (7 ups) and then down the homeward side and ran home
a good targeted focussed training
Im normally not a metallica fan, but this one song that came on radio was perfect pace for sprinting up a hill to!

Lol stole olles bike. Mine is still getting put together!

But good experience anyway
Was actually quite hard cos map/bush was a bit dodge.
Plus on a couple it was my fault where i forgot all about checking direction

Hectic raid (rec activites for the intelectually disabled). Was the best ive been to for ages. I saw about 5 times guys who scored epic shots (/hoops/baskets??) and then just had that "fuck yeah!" look in their eyes as they ran around all excited. Anyway it was good. Therapy!

MTBing on the singletrack up at bruce ridge during my free
was really worth it.
tried to push it a bit harder than "stroll in the park style"
Havent riden for ages cos ive had no access to a bike
Felt good to get back on wheels
Used my freinds Yukon. The geometry of this bike isnt quite up to what im used to but it was still good. clearance was not as great either and i almost came off 3 times when my pedal clipped as i was peddalling around a corner. Anyway it was fun.

I was slack today and did Red three. It was 1.5 shorter than red 2 (red one was out of the question..<11km>.) but i chose it cos im still recovering from my bug and recovery is better than sickness.
anyway i thought it was great. I ran better than i have run at a sunday event for some time now. Only one error where i dropped into the wrong gully near the end, and another i was too high on cos it was in the wrong spot.
Anyway i ran near race pace so that was good. beat Nai by a few mins and olle beat me by two mins :(.
But it was certainly a good run- Lots of hills :D

Still sick but i went to training

FIrstly: 30 Mins of training. I was trained by Ben Rattray. He was great. His main moral of the story was that its great if you are really aware of contour and landformy stuff. That way you are going more acurratly than if youre just looking at your compass. You can use dropping or gaining height to navigate. Anyway yea it was good.

Secondly: Did a relay practice. I was with little Benny T. It was sick fun. i did about 22 mins of running i think.

I decieded im not going in the netti 100km this sunday.
A very hard descision as i was so excited for it.
But i managed to sell my entry so i get my money back!
