Note
(rest day)
Was GOING to go riding after going to Ian Downing to have my forks put back on and a general quick check up. Lucky, or not, but he found a Stress Fracture on the very tail end right hand side, just near the wheel mount.
For those of you who dont under stand this IT IS BAD!!!
So now im all freaked out and worried. I have taken it in and i am hoping to god that it is covered by waranty, which it should be.
I have looked around, and i am thinking of flogging the replaced frame (if it gets replaced) off as brand new, around $500. Then i can invest a bit in an upgrade. I have seen a Giant XTC C0 (top xtc model - carbon fiber composite) for $900 on the CORC website. Yea something like that would be perfect.... hmmm.... and now all i have to think about is the $$$....

Was going to go nite riding with Ian Lawford, Olle and Michael Layton, but just Olle and Ian went cos i couldnt ride mine.

Thursday Aug 7

Running hills (Hills) 35:00 [5]
Canberra Cockatoos training at Bruce Ridge.
We would sprint up one side, then jog down the other, sprint back up, and jog back down to the start.
Did this 5 times (i think, i lost count), so ten runs up the hill, although i did cut a few short in order to keep up with the others.
PE 20:00 [3]
just 20 mins of activity in PE inc. a push up test.

Wednesday Aug 6

Running (BL training) 40:00 [4] 6.5 km (6:09 / km)
hektic run around the lake with the Blue Lightening squad. Great fun. Should start running more

Tuesday Aug 5

Note
Got my Baby back today.
I put her in for a service on friday arvo, she was sent to sydney, dealt with for a meer $100 (stupid ride-shop quoted me $500, onya bike managed for $100!!!), and now my baby is resealed and has fresh oil.

i dont really have a baby
i speak of my F100 RL32 Racing Forks...mmm

Monday Aug 4

Running intervals (Beep-test) 11:00 [3]
Did the beep test in PE. Wasnt in a super enthusiastic mood as i normally am for a beep test. Got to 10 fairly easily, and then popped it up to 11-4. Last year my score was 12-4. Considering that i didnt push myself heaps, was wearing trackies, wasnt prepared/hydrated etc, and pulled out before i even started lagging, i was fair happy with my result.
