Bush Orienteering 39:42 [4] 5.5 km (7:13 / km)

Did my first ever session of bush intervals and really loved it. Thanks Russ for putting out controls for us. Had four loops ranging from 1.2 to 1.7km. My times were 9:38, 9:38, 9:06, 11:20. Did OK. Returning to the start/finish from each loop Josh had to find some red and white tape hung on a tree; we just had to look for Josh as he was always back first. Great weather here today. Jogged to start to warm up and collected some flags to finish.

Running 27:00 [3]

Ran around Ashtonfield with lil Nic. I drew her a course on an old streeto map and she led the way, and did great. Was good fun.

Gym (Cardio Camp class) 45:00 [2]

Well didn't enjoy this class last week, but thought I'd give the instructor one more chance - not happy Jan. She is so disorganised and the class had no structure. Very disappointing as I used to enjoy instructing similar classes years ago and there is so much potential to make them enjoyable and a good workout. Wish I'd done the cycle class instead.

Running 45:00 [4]

Realised how little running I've been doing - found it tough. Ran along with lil Nic, (or quite a way behind her really), as she tested her new hand-me-down bike from big brother Josh. He was going to try to sell it to her!!! Mmm. Was really good for me and enjoyed it heaps. Need to do this more frequently now the days are getting longer.

Cycling (Schwinn cycle class) 45:00 [4]

Only got home from work at 5.45, so a quick change and off to gym with joshwa and lil Nic. Monday night class is my favourite I think. Worked hard, especially for the first 18 min hill climb!!!!

Bush Orienteering (Syd Metro League) 48:00 [3]

Little gift for Russell for Father's Day - drive to Sydney for the chance to orienteer. Pleased we went. Good little course - bit scrubby in the bush, but we come from Newcastle, so nothing new!!. Just did the longest enter on the day course. Not sure of course distance, but Josh' Garmin clocked around 4.4 for the same course. Enjoyed it. Nice to see some juniors there - MJ, Huon, Matt, Chris. Had lovely lunch at Glenbrook afterwards. Now lil Nic's making us some scones - Yay.
