Note

OK
Decided I'd log a bit of training, although, sadly I've worked out that in the last month there have only been about 10 sessions to log !! However, it really has been a FANTASTIC month :-D
Think I'll work backwards.

Walking 1:50:00 [3]

Well this is the first time I've ever logged walking, cause I don't normally see it as training, however, with Josh setting a cracking pace, what was meant to be a 3 hour 15 min walk, was done a lot quicker.
In the French Alps, walked from Le Crozat (alt 1420m) to Nid d'Aigle (alt 2400m). Such a great walk and terrific views.

Thankfully had just enough Euro to catch the train back down.

Cycling (Mountain Biking) 2:00:00 [3]

Mmmm
My first experience at true Mountain Biking, and it had to be a 'DIFFICULT track in the French Alps with the majority of the track either straight up or straight down'
Started off very wonky, stacking it before reaching the chairlift which was to take us to the start of the track :-)
Basically it involved starting at 1900m. then riding up (or should I say walking my bike up!!!) a Steeeeep hill to 2050m, and then finding the winding track to make our way down again - with quite a few steep inclines thrown in.
Poor joshyb had to wait for Nic and I quite a lot. He was very patient.
Anyway, I enjoyed it heaps and improved so much. By the end I was testing myself and riding so much more confidently.... but think I'll always prefer a road bike!!
