Gym 20:00 [3]

Just spent 20mins on the Recumbant cycle - find it a bit uncomfortable. Did some intervals.

Running 20:00 [3]

Didn't get to run before dark, (just slack), so instead of going out with the headlamp, went to the gym with Nic and did a short run on the treadmill. Better than nothing I guess, but really wish I'd done at least one longish run in the last couple months.

Running 20:00 [3]

Short run from home just before it got dark.
Have the pleasure of Blair's company this evening.
Certainly not feeling very ready for a 14km run on the weekend.

Cycling (Schwinn class) 45:00 [4]

Love the Monday night class. Worked hard. The 16 minute hill at the end was a slog. Nice to have instructor John back. The scenario today for the last hill was: I put a sticker on the back of the 10 riders in front of me, each with a reason I may have used in the past for not exercising. Then, I gradually rode them down!!! Hope that works next time it's too cold, or raining, or dark or I'm tired .....

Park Orienteering ('Botanic Gardens') 31:07 [4] 4.0 km (7:47 / km)

Think this was my time.
Fun map.
Loved the tricky stuff and short legs around the gardens. The long legs following tracks were a bit of a slog.
Left #8 and headed along the wrong track for maybe 200m, had to reverse and go back - that was a bummer cause I was doin OK til then. Got very exhausted - Mmm that's the fitness issue again.
Really enjoyed it.

Park Orienteering ('Botanic Gardens') 23:00 [3] 2.7 km (8:31 / km)

Not sure of time.
Headed out on the medium course just for an extra run. Just intended to jog around, and made more errors doing this than when I tried hard - wasn't really focussing I guess. Was good for me to run a bit more though. Touch of a sore calf now - although when I look at steveo and joshyb's efforts I don't think I've anything to complain about.
Thanks for the courses and the fieldwork Ian. Think this maps a nice asset for the club.
