Running 1:08:41 [3]

OK made up for lack of exercise the last two days.
Got joshy to draw some circles on map of local street area ... I made it my mission to go to them all. Pleased with myself as there were quite a few hills tucked in there. As I was starting to feel a bit weary, I whispered in my ear: "OK if it's up to 60 mins when you get to the second last one, you can walk the rest" - knowing full well the last one was going to involve the steepest climb of the run. Well it was 60 mins, but I ran on regardless, just to make joshy proud. Now Russell will run it tomorrow and blow my time to bits!!!
Ah well. Great training run for me.

Street Orienteering (StreetO #2) 50:00 [4]

Not sure of exact time but know I lost 7 mins for being late, so think that means I was over 5 mins late.
Bad route choice and time management today.
Didn't seem that worried about the time limit even though I knew I should be heading back - not sure why. Had a great training run though. Tried to run hard.
As I was making my way back to the finish, I knew I was running late, but still I'd see a two-pointer not far away and think - "Mmmm may as well get it!!" Bad decisions. Ended up running a long way for nothing to get back, but was pretty pleased with my fitness. :-)
Thanks SteveO.
Couldn't find my map afterwards, so I'll plot my route later.

Cycling (Schwinn cycle class) 30:00 [4]

Couldn't go to last night's class - was at an inservice in Sydney for the afternoon/evening, so decided to go tonight. Enjoyed doing a shorter class for a change. Worked hard. Lots of intervals.

Gym (Abs class) 15:00 [3]

Mmm. Fifteen minutes was ample for my tummy!!!

Running race (Avon Race For Research) 25:32 [4] 5.2 km (4:55 / km)

Mmm. Went OK.
Over 3000 entries so pretty crowded at the start.
Bit depressing when you think back to your youth and remember being able to run more comfortably such longer distances at such a faster pace.
Good cause and enjoyed it.
