Running 50:14 [3]

Ran from home. Real nip in the air but terrific conditions once started. Have been doing very little running lately so was pleased to feel pretty good the whole time, even on the hills - maybe I was just running at a very slow comfortable pace? Enjoyed it though and feel so pleased for making the effort. Amazing the difference running on roads makes to the body, as opposed to the bush - the toes and the hips were feeling it .... still are :)

Bush Orienteering (NOY) 1:08:57 [3] 7.4 km (9:19 / km)

NOY at ""Stanford Scrubs"
New map and great course by Denis.
Shame he doesn't have the internet to read all the positive comments he gets :) Can't even message him "Congrats". haha

Glad I did the long course today. 7.4km course distance, but very flat.
Didn't have too bad of a run. Rushed at the start and messed up #1, lost a bit of time at #5 and #7 and really shouldn't have walked a little on the only hill for the course to #18 :(
Pleased with my result though so that's positive.
Scrubby in places which made accurate compass work a must. At one stage I deliberately went the bush option rather than the track just for more compass practice. Went OK.

Great weather and great company at the computer - Thanks Geoff and Malcolm.
