Running 20:00 [3]

Not sure of the time but just a short run to test Nicola's feet again. Still in a lot of pain after a period of time - it's her foot arch that hurts. Bought her new shoes yesterday but that hasn't helped so looks like we may have to have some medical investigation :(
The run certainly helped loosen my stiff legs.

Gym (Cardio Camp) 45:00 [3]

Enjoyable but not as good as last week. Found myself getting a bit frustrated when doing runs etc around the room and getting stuck behind others and so not being able to work as hard as I'd like. Last week we were in pairs and it was great to push yourself. I'll go back though.
Shame my right knee still causes me so much grief with these classes, and even with abs exercises.

Gym (Abs Class) 15:00 [3]

Was good :)

Bush Orienteering (Hunter Valley Champs) 55:00 [3] 4.4 km (12:30 / km)

So if I was going to do a course today my main aim was to get around without injuring my ankle again .......AND I DID IT :)
Opted for the Medium Red. Was pleased to have the track option for a few legs early on and felt good running. Did some things really well today, but was on occasions still a bit messy, especially at #7 and #12 in or near the circle. Wish I'd gone south from #11 instead of east. Veered too far down the slope and ended up very slow through the green. Then overran #12 and should have headed straight back out to the track after it.
Only saw two people out there, Arthur twice and Rockman later in the course.
Was never going to be worried about my result today as I just can't believe I did the course without making my ankle worse. I walked over all the rocky ground, but that was OK cause I could see where I was treading. It was through the long grass I had to slow the most as I couldn't afford to tread on something uneven.
Pretty happy chappy.
My ankle will heal fine I think - have done it heaps of times before :) It's sore on top as I didn't roll it to the side, but sort of forward and twisted.
