Running 32:31 [3]

Certainly wasn't cold when I stepped out at 5 pm for a run.
Felt pretty unfit and struggled today. Hope it was just a bad day, although it probably is to be expected - when I look back over my log, I've done less than 6 hours of running in the last 3 months . that's not very good :(
Especially when Grant M has been doing more than that every week for the last 3 months. Still even though it was a struggle, I'm very pleased I went. I was going to go to a cycle class, but Nicola's physio advised her to give it a miss so I dropped her home and ran instead.

Netball (Netball) 30:00 [3]

Difficult scrounging enough players again so had Nicola and a friend fill in. Ended up starting as GK because I just wanted everyone to have a fun time and want to play next week as much as I do. They all did enjoy it. I only lasted 15 mins at GK - just needed to run, so went to WD and had a better time.

Netball 30:00 [4]

Filled in for Nicola's team. Enjoyed it heaps and made me feel better after the slower game first. Tried hard. Played WA for the game. :)

Bush Orienteering (SL #11) 1:16:00 [4] 5.8 km (13:06 / km)

"The Piggery"
Not an ideal start messing #1 a bit. Slow to #2 and #3 and then started to feel more confident. Ran steady and my legs were very tired from yesterday. Had no zing at all on the tracks. Absolutely loved the course and fairly pleased overall with my run. My biggest time loss was probably #14. I was maybe ten metres from the control but didn't trust myself and hence went lower to check, and then "Yes I was right all along" just needed to keep going a bit further.
Some areas were scrubby, but found a lot runnable and so enjoyable.
