Note

Spent nearly 2 hours putting out the control stands for tomorrow.
Looks nice at Tocal. Walked it and happy with everything. No bulls or plovers or magpies on the attack today :)
Asthma playing up a bit today.

Cycling (Schwinn Cycle Class) 45:00 [3]

Just got there in time.
Didn't push super hard - coughed and spluttered a bit and got rid of a heap of congestion so hopefully it was worth the effort ....... haha wasn't as gross as that sounds ;).

Street Orienteering (StreetO) 33:00 [4]

30 min StreetO warmup event.
Still sick - the dreaded Schools Camp wog :( - so wasn't planning on running hard, just a jog to see how I felt. Pretty clogged up head and bad cough, but once I started I didn't feel near as bad as expected so pushed pretty hard. Such terrible route choice at the start!!
Ended up with 29 points but 3 min late so score of 26. Happy with that and glad I tested myself by having a go.
Not feeling too crash hot now though!! Still, not near as bad as poor Nicola.

Park Orienteering 1:00:00 [2]

Went to Tocal to make some map and course adjustments ready for Sunday's big event!!!
Think it will be heaps of fun; wish I was running ;)
How better to practice control flow than to do a 7km course with 50 controls? hahaha

Bush Orienteering 52:36 [4]

Had such a terrible terrible run.
Overran a few and ended up in the wrong gully - meant a heap of extra climbing and distance. Didn't enjoy the terrain much - hard on ankles and after waking with the dreaded wog that was going around the schools camp, I wasn't super enthusiastic.
Felt terrible for letting my relay partners down :(
Survived on one hours sleep after a windy night and a collapsed tent. Back in my own bed now :)
