Park Orienteering 45:00 [3]

Just logging 45 mins of running at the Uni. Ran a course and spent a few hours doing some course checking and some headcam videoing. Now I just need to perfect my Warren Key voice to add the finishing touches ;)

Park Orienteering 50:00 [3]

Not sure of time. Joined Josh's hill training .... Not to run with them but just to maximise my time with Josh while he's home because obviously that's why he made the trip back ;) haha
Anyway I made it around the course but I was absolutely pathetic - no guts, no speed up hills and no youthfulness!!!!! Was a little deflating for my fitness confidence. Disappointed I couldn't make it up some of the longer hills without stopping. In the end I was just trying to keep going.
Maybe doing my first hills session at age 47 was a little late :(

Note

Looking forward to focusing on some course setting this weekend rather than school work :)

Street Orienteering (Last Newc StreetO) 45:30 [3]

"Mayfield"
Had a pretty poor run as far as answering questions .... couldn't read or find some of them very quickly. Certainly not very smooth!! Didn't feel very committed tonight so might have been a little lazy at times, and stood around for quite a while deciding which way to go for points on occasions.
Enjoyable series.
Thanks everyone. Now for the parkO's on Wednesday :) Then the bush season :D

Bush Orienteering 50:00 [3]

Took Alex to Sugarloaf after work :) So nice to run in the bush. Nicola and I did a little course taking turns to navigate each leg. Pretty sure she was navigating better than me ... Didn't do much for my confidence as I stuffed up quite a few. Think for my first bush run for a while it would have been good to have flags out haha. Was great fun though. Disappointed I felt exhausted so early. Managed to beat the storm :) Alex loved it.

Street Orienteering (CCStreetO) 48:58 [3]

Final CCStreetO for the season :(
Always look forward to these events on a Sunday. Love the venues, the use of SI and the relaxed feel among the competitors. Was pretty warm and hilly today but enjoyed it. Walked a couple of times but also pushed myself running hard up some hills!!! Can see errors in my route choice now but did ok.
Can't believe how sore my quads are after yesterday's couple of sprints. Took a while to warm them up and could still feel them when I was running down hills.
Thanks again CC Club members :)
