Park Orienteering (OShea 2Days) 28:00 [3]

Relay Leg 1
Started with partner Sal, but after starting to run our first leg her ankle was playing up and she had to pull the pin. I still wanted to have a run. Knowing Patrik didn't have a partner I waited for him to come in from his first leg and ran from the last control to the finish with him asking him if he still wanted to run all four relay legs or if he wanted me as a partner. Would have been quite deflating if he'd said he wanted to do it all himself ;) luckily he said "fine" and I headed out on the second leg. Half way round I got onto the wrong track and all I could think about was how Patrik had blitzed his run and I'd let him down :(

Park Orienteering (OShea Relay) 25:00 [3]

Not sure of my time again.
Patrik had had another good relay leg!!!!
Did better this time but still got exhausted and wasn't happy with my performance.
Runs wer e at Point Wolstonecroft .. Terrific little area mapped by Nick.
Great start to the weekend.
Headed to Swansea for some food in preparation for the Nighto.

Night Orienteering (OShea NightO) 32:00 [3]

NightO at Gwandalan.
Not a real fan of the night events, mainly because of my ankles. Fortunately I had Steveo's ayups :D. The first time I've had decent lights to run with. Was fun. Got stuck in a bit of bush at one stage but pleased to be able to run knowing my partner wasn't able to make it :)
Birthday cake for Rhiana after :)

Park Orienteering 28:00 [3]

First ParkO at Stevenson Park.
Pretty much a running race with basic navigation due to the simplicity of the map. Started late with a second hand map and never really felt committed. Good to do a tough run I guess but looking forward to some more challenging navigation.
Thanks to Peter for the course :)

Bush Orienteering 1:20:00 [3]

Training at 'Stanford Scrubs' with Josh, Alex, Macey, Nic, Kas, Angus and StK66.
Middle distance course first and felt pretty good about my nav and compass work. Think it took about 50 mins. I like this area. :)
The others then did a sprint course and I ran after and collected the tapes.
Thanks Alex and Josh for great training Fri and today :)
