Park Orienteering 50:00 [3]

Spent about 6 hrs working on my NOL courses and then ran two of them, and checked some control sites too.
Enjoyed my long course so much :D

Running 30:00 [3]

Raining heavy but I eventually realized it wasn't going to ease.
Still feel pretty unfit running, and I'm slack and have nothing up hills. :-(
Was better than nothing though, especially on a Friday afternoon when I've had a tiring week.

Cycling (Schwinn) 45:00 [3]

Bit of a disrupted class. Didn't have a ventolin with me and felt quite tight in the chest very early in the class. Knew I wouldn't make it through the entire 45 mins. Went to the front desk and had a puff of a spare ??? Needed it. .. and was fine after that.

Gym 15:00 [3]

Abs class ... was good :)

Park Orienteering 13:00 [3]

Put out a few controls at Jesmond Park. Had set a training activity for anyone running the May NOL at the UNI, unable to compete in the ParkO tonight. Set 5 x 1km intervals. Great training for them. I managed to run two of them before control collection. Well worth the effort :)

Street Orienteering (OShea Long Score) 38:00 [3]

Woohoo!!!!! Patrik and I had a win!!!!!
Was pretty pleased to be able to give him the cake prize :D Was worried after all his hard work we wouldn't win one :)
Split the controls giving Patrik roughly 7.5 and me 6.5km to run .... Of course didn't know that beforehand. Patrik had the more challenging navigation. As I was running to our last control (where each pair has to wait and run to the finish together) i could hear people yelling that Patrik was just behind me.
Punched and ran to the finish together; had timed it perfectly.... Luckily :)
Really had nothing in my legs today. For the first 15 mins I just felt like my calves were going to cramp up, and then rolled my ankle half way round. Glad to have held on :)
Thanks partners, and thanks again Central Coast orienteers. Really is a terrific weekend. Can't understand why others don't come along. So much fun :D

Note

Great to have a full weekend of exercise after such a busy week with work.
The weekend runs have really shown me however that I've just lost a lot of speed, and I think I'm a bit weak when it comes to pushing myself :(
