Running 22:00 [3] 4.0 km (5:30 / km)

Haven't ran on the roads much but had to tonight. Knee started hurting after about 7 mins. Still feel very unfit and lacking endurance .... I didn't stop though in hilly Ashtonfield ;)

Worked OK but knee still dodgy

Running (Terrain) 25:00 [3]

Ran a couple of loops in the Ashtonfield bush. Nic showed me her interval loop and I went round it twice. Unbelievably hot and humid!!! Pretty uncomfortable really but I'm guessing there's plenty more to come.
Have a very sore knee which I'm a bit concerned about.

Cycling 45:00 [3]

Gym class. Really enjoyed it but felt so guilty for going cause poor Nic went to work to try to swap a shift and they asked if she could go home and change and work NOW!!! She was NOT VERY HAPPY, you might say a bit grumpy really as it meant she wouldn't be able to train. I then went to the gym without her while she was working.

Bush Orienteering ('Gretely') 1:01:00 [3] 4.9 km (12:27 / km)

Normally I do the long course but Nick reminded me of my age so I settled for the medium ;)
NEW MAP .... so good!!!
Was really keen for this today and the course and map didn't let me down. I let myself down at #2 though - lost 11 minutes on Nick with such a short leg :( Happy with the rest of the course. A few little errors and misses but nothing major, oh except I navigated to #14, nailed it, but was meant to be going to #13 haha, and fussed around at #17 a bit.
Splits compare favourably with Nick for the rest of the course so that's OK. Got a few tips from Rob V after, who absolutely blitzed the course.
Thanks to Denis for such a great course and map. How lucky NOC is to have him!!
