Street Orienteering 42:25 [3] 6.2 km (6:50 / km)

Skinny Latte
Drove to Sydney and had a run around Balmain in the ArchaeO event organised as part of Sydney Architecture Festival and as a pre ONSW Presentation Dinner Activity.
Actually it was designed to be walked around, and in the order of #1-22 controls but I wasn't aware of that :)
At each control there was a laminated sign with either some architectural designs to recognise or a bit of history to answer a question about etc. I soon realised that if I was going to stop and read all the info and then answer the questions I was going to take a very long time and hence decided to just visit each of the controls and have a little read and look at the signs.
Haven't been around Balmain before and it was nice :)
Knee was pretty bothersome for a fair amount of the time.
Had fun.

Note

Knee was really sore yesterday. Took an anti-infllammatory today and also had a remedial massage for an hour this arvo. Felt OK after that but just isn't right. Tight quads and ITB. Decided to just go for a walk and see how it felt - not too positive however history would suggest that it might be fine tomorrow and crap the next day and I have no idea what seems to be the trigger - a tad worried about the old peoples A word :(
Was tossing up between the 5km Maitland Park run in the morning or the Archae O in Balmain tomorrow - not sure I should do either but I'll see.

Street Orienteering (StreetO #3) 47:04 [3] 7.8 km (6:02 / km)

Really poor route choice and struggled for any flow with the clues today. Had a fair bit of knee discomfort; worse than during the Urban Max!!

Bush Orienteering 29:30 [3] 3.5 km (8:26 / km)

Fairley Dams
Feet were pretty tender but couldn't resist the temptation of our last bush event on a new map, plus knowing my O shoes are looser around my toes made me hope my feet wouldn't be an issue.
Opted for the short hard course and really enjoyed it. Was a mixture of a line course and score - you had to collect a certain number of extra controls of your choice.
Was very hot and dry, runnable and such fun. So glad I went. Pretty happy with how the legs held up running today :)
