Sunday May 18

Running warm up/down 20:00 [3]
Jogging to start before and walking and jogging back afterwards.
Orienteering intervals (Blue Lightning) 10:00 [3]
Three short loops of two controls at Majura Pines.
Orienteering 35:00 [3] 5 km (7:00 / km)
Pine forest course. Fine except i temporarily orgot the three furtherest away controls didn't have tapes so at the first i couldn't work out why it wasn't there when i thought i was in the right spot! :P
Note
I have no idea how long each bit of training today was I just estimated! I think I should get a proper digital watch where you can record more than one time - lap timing i think?

Orienteering (Night-O!!!) 50:00 [3] 5 km (10:00 / km)
My first ever night-o!!!! o it was tricky. lol. and slightly scary. i went extra slowly and carefully coz i decided that if i got lost/misplaced i would stay lost/misplaced forever and ever, until a giant kangaroo came and boxed me into oblivion. lol. but anyway it was fun. i have no idea if it actually was 50 mins but oh well.

Friday May 16

Running hills 22:00 [4]
Ran up Mt. Ainslie (in the rain/light drizzle) from the bottom of the walking track - well actually it was more like run for a while, then stop and get breath back for a while, then run for a while. ouch!!! made me feel so unfit...
Then I ran down which was obviously wayy easier!
Running warm up/down 15:00 [3]
11 mins to bottom of Mt. Ainslie.
4 mins cool down after (then walk back home)

Thursday May 15

Running intervals 16:00 [3]
Well maybe not intervals... i dunno - running for a certain amount of time rather than a certain distance. Around oval. As explained by nomi who was explained to by josh! yay nomi we were long distance training partners - same thing sameish time of day but far apart...

1.30 recovery jog, 1.30 sprint x 2
1.00 recovery jog, 1.00 sprint x 2
0.45 recovery jog, 0.45 sprint x 2
0.30 recovery jog, 0.30 sprint x 2
0.15 recovery jog, 0.15 sprint x 2

Went pretty well I guess since I've never done this type of thing before.

Running warm up/down 10:00 [1]

Wednesday May 14

Orienteering intervals 50:00 [3] ** 5 km (10:00 / km)
Blue Lightning training at the pinnacle
4 x 1.2kmish loops with breaks in between.
Should have brought a compass - I'm really bad at orienteering without one and ended up just following ppl while trying to work out exactly where I was. Which meant I couldn't really overtake them could I!? Oh well it was funnn - good work for organising it nomi and luke!

Cycling (to school!) 1:00:00 [3]
Easy ride on the way to school, (downhill or flat the whole way!) Pushed harder up the hills on the way home. I should ride way more often than I do..
Running warm up/down 10:00 [2]
Warm-up before intervals and cool down after.
