my ouchy foot is due to an inflamed joint that I must have jarred. It will get better with rest, however running on it for nationals won't extend the time it takes to heal, so I'm all in the clear!!! I've now got anti-inflammatory tablets that should make it hurt less, and have been told to ice it after running if it's sore :D
meanwhile I have arthritis in my big toes!!! hehe i'm sooo old. but it's ok it's not like they hurt :P also, the stress reactions they found in my legs (both sides!) are not really anything to worry about coz they're not big and haven't been painful. although one was a bit sore a couple of wks ago that probs means it's already starting to heal as i haven't been running. apparently asymptomatic stress reactions don't always become stress fractures so it should be fine.
QUEENSLAND HERE I COME!!!!!! except i'll be really slow from not training at all for 5 wks. sigh. oh well. |
