I was planning on doing 6 hills but the hill was not as big as I remembered so I decided to do 8. After the 7th I was starting to get my post-race symptoms. After I finished the hills I felt pretty awful and walked most of the way back.

I did not really have a plan of where to go or what to do when I started running. The result was doing a few pickups for random distances at random paces followed by random amounts of recovery. On the last one I slipped and fell on the part between the road and sidewalk on some grass that looked normal but was all mud. I decided to head back at that point because my knee was bleeding a little bit and I was extremely muddy. It did not end up being a very good workout.

It was around 50 degrees today so I got in my second run of the year in shorts. It's good to see my pace getting back down close to where I want it, even if it is for a short run.
