Cross Country Race race (estimate time til result) 23:00 [5]

south yorkshire xc. race 3. winter hill. very slippery - skidded on a very muddy downhill corner on the first lap and went flying, apparently 'spectacularly' - bashed my hip, rolled over in the mud and carried on (james bond style). apart from that bit, it was fun!

Felt v tired from the minute I got out the car. Warm up a struggle. Very flat in race, so v slow! :(
Perhaps due to 13 days on site with getting up at 5.30 , or maybe because it was first leg of a national race and I'm not ready for the speed yet.
