through the parks, then my plan to go slow was working until fulwood road where i sort of got into a race with a runner on the other side, right the way along to the traffic lights

running with giles round hampstead heath an up parliament hill - he was running so slowly so i purposely got us lost to make the run longer, so he forced me into doing uphill situps and downhill pressups afterwards

legs really hurt today, more than after any other race ever.
however cycle ride with lucy did them good and they didnt hurt on the bike

2 laps, and some very steep hills. felt alright after a longer warm up than my normal 5 minute jog on the spot

running on flat grey highstreet is boring compared to mountains hence the lack of training this week. id not be a runner if i lived in london all the time id probly rather be lazy and just eat cake instead

on the otherhand the running felt really easy to run fast -no tired legs or outof breathness maybe rest is good sometimes

from campsite set off up Monte Perdido - no chance of gettin to summit which is 3350m but got to where runnable path ends by big waterfall and thick thick snow,even though still baking hot

tried doing intervals of 1km each - even mountain roads are marked by km signs! very handy for running! but i was very slow! managed four between 3.30 and 3.50.. was at nearly 2000m...affected by altitude maybe dont know maybe just tired!?

in spain now in the pyrenees, ran 10miles up a mountain road and back, time is slow for effort 4 but its about a hundred degrees here and high up!¿
