Fell Race (trunce) 31:00 [3]

before the race id thought i couldnt be runnin worse than noonstone disaster race - but felt just as awful if not worse. even though i was going so slow i was really really trying to try but my legs werent having it -werent just my legs that killed and totally unable to breathe but also just felt like entire exhaustion !?

weird cos i thought my training has been going well. and fast ish. but aparently it might take 6 months to run normal again. but absolutely cannot race at the moment. 30 mins of that i can stand but 2 or 3 hours in ireland i know i cant

Running (pm) 28:00 [2]

night run with dad to 'test out his hamstring'. it bucketed it down 5 minutes in. but the hamstring was ok - so good, in fact, that he turned the run into a race (which i won) and then ended (as lots of our runs do) in an argument.

Thursday Mar 25, 2010 #

Intervals hills (pm - late) 12:00 [4]

12 x 1 minutes up a hill.
lack of time meant rushed recoveries, so very short fastish running down between - just far enough down to get the next up hill in before the hill ran out

Running 23:00 [2]

to the hill, in between the hills, home from the hill

Circuits 40:00 [1]

no energy whatsoever, still glad i went though

Note

test results = very low ferritin levels (3 whatevers - it should be over 25 apparently) explains my complete lack of energy & crap running at the moment
it's good because i was slightly worried that i might just be really unfit!

Now on a massive high dose of pills for a while...yay...
