Cressbrook Crawl Fell Race. Very stiff legged this morning (maybe slightly overdid it on Thurs after Weds race) and felt the most unenthusiastic for this race ever. This may have actually helped as I set off very steadily for once.

However it turned out to be a great route and I really loved it - now one of my favourite peak district races! Really runnable and trailey and great scenery with some shortish steep uphills and runnable downs. And the villagers were so friendly and cheering!

Made it into the dark peak 'mens' winning team with Mike Nolan and Gareth (for the first and probably last time - the field was not exactly stacked).

Easy run from work - up porter brook, up grass....road to top and along, cut down fields and along behind sportsman and path to crimicar (first time along there) and back along top of rivelin. Tight left hamstring & right inner calf.
